(More customer reviews)I am a new adult student and do not have very much experience with violin stuff yet but.. I ordered a violin from Amazon with these strings installed. They sounded pretty good to me and I've been learning for a couple of months now. I just recently broke my "A" string while tuning (my fault not the strings) and replaced it from this set. It installed easily and tuned with only a few turns (using an electronic tuner). They seem to hold their tuning pretty well and play easily. Again, I'm just starting out so someone with more experience might have a different opinion as to what to look for in a replacement string set. These are well labled and color coded which makes it easy for a newbie to figure things out. :)
