(More customer reviews)Received the violin thought it was wonderful. Son began lessons and did great while plucking the strings. Unfortunately the first day the instructor took the bow and turned the tension knob the bow broke. Unfortunately it was day 31 and Amazon.com has no way to contact them to discuss the defective merchandise. I am officially done with Amazon.com. I would have thought that a $200.00 violin would have been constructed better. I now have to go and search for a new bow. Violin came without any manufacturer details so can not make any contact to discuss any possible warranty info. UPDATE I was able to contact amazon.com and was pleasantly suprised when a brand new violin arrived on my doorstep. I did not use the new bow because I purchased a fiberglass bow from a local violin shop. My son has been using this violin since it was purchased and he absolutely loves it. I will be attending his first concert in a few weeks.
