We ended up disposing of our Monster Cables, after less than a year of normal use due to intermittent distortion and static at the cable connection plugs.
We didn't want to bother with the hassle of sending the Monster Cable back to have to prove that their item could not fulfill the warranty.
The Planet Waves connectors/plugs are even built stronger, to be able to endure the rigors of live sound and stage reliability.
