(More customer reviews)I bought the violin for my son. When it arrive, the wooden bridge piece was not installed. I am not a musician so I had to figure out how to install the bridge. It won't stay upright with the pressure from the string. Maybe the bright is too narrow. A slight movement of string will knock it down. I couldn't get the bright piece to stay upright for an hour of trying with the string pressure and I finally gave up. I finally put some glue on the bottom of the bridge and able to hold it down. However, the music teacher told my son that is a no-no. You cannot glue the bridge piece. Barcelon should pre-install the bridge to reduce such a problem. I am not sure even the music teacher can make the bridge stay without glue. The violin is otherwise a decent quality and the case is nice.
