(More customer reviews)These strings, costing much less than most "brand-name" synthetic violin strings, seem to be well-made and have a decent tone. Best for students and other players wishing the flexibility and response of a metal-wound synthetic string at a minimum price. The violin E string is plain (unwound) steel wire.
