(More customer reviews)After a short time, this stuff shifts and floats. When removed, it leaves a sticky mess all over the fingerboard. Save yourself a bunch of headaches, as well as messy instruments and strings: use either electrical tape (comes in rainbow colors and is easily trimmed, stays put and doesn't leave residue) or go to the auto parts store and get narrow pinstriping tape.
