(More customer reviews)Purchased this item two months ago. Within 1 week I had to replace a peg that broke in two while tuning it. Then yesterday I opened the case to find that the end pin broke, causing the tailpiece to go flying, rendering the instrument useless. In essence, I got two months of use out of it. To repair it will cost three times the purchase price. It would have been cheaper to rent a quality instrument. Although the red lacquer makes for an attractive instrument,the sound quality was poor. So save yourself grief and go to your local music store and rent a quality instrument.
